Justice Stevens on John Roberts. But what's with the headline to this article? "Justice Stevens Stresses Growth on Court." Don't they check these things for double meanings?

No, headline writers apparently don't check much of anything, often including the content of the article.

Speaking of loose writing or editing, I am amazed at how much experience Stevens has picked up on the Court -- having been appointed in 1975, he has acquired 35 years of experience in only 30 years of calendar.
