Vlog?

In some quarters, they're clamoring for a vlog. I think I might do that, in maybe about an hour. But you've got to throw some questions at me. Vloggable questions!

But you've got to throw some questions at me.

OK: Is the one you do in the nude?

I need a cheer after the misery of the football.

What are you doing tomorrow? Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving memory you would like to share?

How many posts do you average a month? I estinate at least 7 / day = 210 but have to reduce for your occasional slacker day (approx. 15%)therefore = 210 x 85% = 179 per month.

Do you like corn pudding for Thanksgiving?
Do you cook for Thanksgiving, and what is your favorite dish to make?
How big is your turkey?
Do you own a gun? What's your prediction for the second amendment ruling?

I need some subject matter other than Thanksgiving. I'm not going to vlog about Thanksgiving.

OK-- first time I've ever asked you a question on one of these:

Do you own a firearm? If not, do you know how to use one? Are you a good shot? If so, what is the model?

Eli Blake said...

whoops-- stoqboy already asked you that.

So a backup question:

Any thoughts about Pakistan, especially since we all saw those pictures of lawyers in suits staring down riot police.

Do you still want to be a television talk show host? I mean, if the lawprof blogger gig peters out.

Best new blog you've seen lately?

You've commented a bit on '60's bands...do you have a favorite '70's or '80's band?

make sure you vlog on the new "Dylan" movie! Maybe you could do an Althouse equivalent vlog: "I'm right here."

Any thoughts on 40-ish people attempting to enroll in law school? Are there any older students in your classes, and, if so, how do they fare?

Since your commenters are bunch of preening egoists, talk about us. The interplay between different viewpoints. Why you let some things go and jump on other things with both tootsies? How much rope do you give us before it becomes too much rope? Are you sorry you indulged some behavior and wish the conversation would go in another direction? When is enough, enough or do you want to unspool the role all the way to the end? Do you ever read a post and say "What did I get myself into with this bulllucky (new euphemism)? I am sure Titus would agree, your readers will be riveted and blow off the game (At least the Dallas/Jet game, that’s gonna suck donkey Lucky). Or at least have to have the bolts in their necks tightened if they don't like what they hear.
Happy Thanksgiving

How is your iphone working out?

How's about a vlog with a commenter or two?

titusbk said...

OK, I asked this before.

After experiencing and tasting much of the visuals of NYC do you think it has effected your fashion choices? And if so, in what way?

titusbk said...

Oh here's another. I have read in some of the comments some commenters mentioning that some of the "Best Commenters" from the past have left because of the some of the nastiness.

Doe is effect you when you no longer see a commenter on your site anymore.

titusbk said...

OK, one more. I bet you are more relaxed in Madison than NYC.

Describe the difference between your mood in Madison compared to NYC and you can't say that Madison is home and NYC is temporary.

I want to know if you feel more tense in NYC. Most days I love it but some days I hate the rat race. It seems like you can never get away from people and Madison is definitely more calming do you agree?

Lastly, many of us did that survey you requested us.

Just curious what is the average age of your commenter/reader who participated in that survey. Also, what is the male/female ratio?

Were newspapers better when they put the women's pages in the second section?

I'm going to sit this round out, because Eli (4:47 PM), Ron (5:14 PM) and Titus (5:54 PM) have already asked some great questions that could easily take up ten minutes; and if they don't, answers to Trooper's question about comment policy and Windbag's question about older folk going back to law school are of direct interest to me, for obvious reasons.

Where you fall on Lucky/Lucy debate?
Wouldn't it be interesting if our adversarial court system worked like a Lucy or DTL or Christopher debate?

Lawyer- "Your honor, clearly you must consider the voluminous amount of facts and examples in reaching your decision."

Lucky/DTL/Christopher.-
"BLOW ME"

Judge- "ruling in favor of the real Lawyer. Bailiff, shoot lucy/DTL/Christopher.

Wouldn't that be cool?

Also, any chance of getting a picture of titus type of dog? The breed that shall not be named?

Just admit it, you have the hots for Mortimer Brezny. That's my question.

Trooper York said...

Oooooooooh! That's gonna leave a mark.

John - a personal message from Simon to Mort. ;)

(Just kidding.)

Suggestion (too late for this time, but maybe coming up). I agree with Ron, spend a minute or two interviewing two choice commenters.

Yeah, talk about the evolution of your thoughts with respect to gun control/gun rights, and your personal experience with firearms.

Other, non-vloggable things I wonder about: When you got married, did you think about your future sons' responsibilities should the Temple ever be rebuilt? How often do you change your photo here, and why?

john said...

And not Batman and Robin (LOS and Christopher). How about getting Sippican on the phone, say, before Christmas?

gotta edit and upload

Jeff, you mean a clumber spanield; here's a picture of Justice Breyer's clumber doppelganger. :p

I wonder if I'll be able to watch it on my iPhone on Edge. Greetings from a blessedly dry I-35 south of Des Moines, speeding right along toward Missouri. Glad you got home safe and sound.

Ann Althouse said...

reader, I hope you arrived safely!

jeff said...

Simon, thanks. But we promised Titus we wouldn't mention the breed anymore. Still, nice to put a face to the dog.
