"I'm sure Macca's new lady-friend Nancy Shevell is a very nice woman..."

"... but she just willingly, knowingly went out in public wearing leggings that might be made out of Miss Piggy."

I suspect that the leggings look a lot worse when photographed with a flash than they do in the mirror.

The trend won't have legs, so to speak.

It might surprise you, but I don't care who some irrelevant musical has-been is dating, or what she is wearing.

I guess the 1970 equivalent would be: What is Benny Goodman's wife wearing? Would you have cared then?

Sorry, MM. Fashion is important. So is laughing at people.

I clicked the link and became deeply befuddled.

I could not believe what I was seeing.

It was not what I expected.

Ms. Shevell was certainly not wearing leggings.

Something was amiss!

So I went straight to the Googles.

And now I know, after all these years.

Now I finally know the difference between “leggings” and “leg warmers.”

The interweb is a beautiful thing.

I'm laughing at who you pick relevant to laugh at. Or somethin'

Fashion is not important for distress-causing brothers like me. Maybe my sister would agree with you.

OMG this fashion statement is that Leprosy is cool. Or that skin disease is acceptable among friends. It is also like wearing Tattoos on your legs. Only a dare-devil type of man would risk finding out what diseases these women have on board. So maybe it's use is as a natural selection tool to propagate more Blind Men.

Professor, please don't wear them when you go teach a class, and for Gosh sakes not when you have your marriage ceremony.

Why the surprise? It is by now well-known that Sir Paul is not a leg man...

Yeah, I'm guessing the flash vs. the hallway mirror versions are quite different. At least, I hope so.

Oh, the burden of fashion.

Sure he is. Didn't the last Mrs. have just one leg?

"Benny Goodman's Wife"

Benny Goodman was married to Alice Hammond from 1942 until her death in 1978. Alice was the sister of record producer John Hammond. Benny and Alice had two daughters. One became a musician, the other an English teacher.

What do you suppose Benny Goodman would have made of Mos Def?

Speaking of questionable fashion statements, I don't get this ensemble, but Brown's ill fitting dress probably isn't lining them up at Marks & Sparks for knock-off copies.

However Michelle's acid-yellow Thakoon was fabulous.

Yes it is, I just stumbled on this page and had to share.

Weird how John and Paul had a thing for ugly chicks yet Ringo got Barbara Bach.

I don't think it's the color that's the problem. Her lower legs lack the shape to pull it off - so it looks like baggy old skin instead of spangly, hot legs.

Raise your hands if you think PM should stop dying his hair. If you don't have eyebrows anymore, you shouldn't dye your hair. That's the fashion rule.

Are you sure those aren't hose to support varicose veins that Paul was supposed to be wearing not the arm candy?
