Racine recall recount ends with the Democrats winning their 1-person majority in the Wisconsin senate.

Subject to challenge by the Republican Wanggaard and, more importantly, subject to the November elections when half the senate is up for grabs with the districts as redrawn by the erstwhile GOP majority.

He looks forward to joining them where? At a July 4th picnic?

The guy can't stop spinning even after all the votes have been found.

No - in Illinois.

I'm so stunned. How could this happen?

On a more serious note, there are questions which demand answere in the Recall Election of State Senator Van Wanggaard.

Reports have surfaced that pre-certified voter registration forms were found in the garbage at one of the polling places in Racine. Who are the officials who pre-certified these forms? What is their explanation of why the forms were pre-certified, when voter registration forms are not supposed to be certified until after they are filled out by a prospective voter?

Since more than 4000 people were added to the voter lists in Racine through registration at the polls on election day, how many of those added were at the polling place where the pre-certified forms were found? What percentage of voters in Racine registered at the polls on election day? How do these percentages compare to same-day registration percentages at other polling places in the state, both for this election and for past elections? And how many of these same-day registrations were at polling places that also had problems with improperly sealed bags of ballots?

Odd enough, it just happened to be a conservative that found them. In the garbage. Strange how that all happened!

I'd bet money JohnnyT1948 is one of Walker's paid trolls that infests every comment board in the state.

What say you, Johnny?

I'll be glad to take that bet. But rather than take your money, I will ask you to donate it to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation. They serve without asking the government to be involved.

By the way, nice deflection. But the questions still need to be answered.

GM,

So, should this be investigated, or not? I don't understand why pre-signed ballots found in the trash should not be investigated just because the person who found them is someone who has different politics from you. That would seem like an odd way to make these decisions.

I have a lot of questions how elections are run in this state too. Hey look! Found 14,000 votes!, to the e-vote machines just shipped and replaced for free to some northern Wisconsin counties. Hmm. Some went from blue to red just like that! Sorry to be so cynical, but I think this is a classic head fake type deal ala the Drudge Red Siren. Where's NANCY!. (If I remember correctly, that was within a day or two after Ted Haggart got busted). Squirrel!

Both sides get to rehearse. I view this as a good thing.
