"You're short, fat and white. Don't talk to me like that."

Said the Waukesha bus driver.

Brian Engelking, transit manager, told the Freeman that driver is not a city employee, but an employee of Professional Transit Management,..

If ever you have a government or corporate employee try to explain away or deflect some complaint of malfeasance by saying 'Oh, those folks are contractors..." immediately terminate said employee.

Contractors often have more control over their subcontractors than they do over their own employees (especially the case if it's a governmental agency). Why do you think they use subcontractors so much?

Whatever a subcontractor does, the contractor is legally responsible for. Period. End of story.

Doesn't this count as counter Trayvoning?

Needs some severe counseling on customer service, he does.

I would say that was a racist comment if the liberal intelligentsia had not already told me that blacks cannot be racists.

""You're short, fat and white."

And those are not protected classes, and if Obama had a son, he wouldn't look anything like you. So sue me, honky fatso midget!

I suppose that a response of "Yas'm ah is lak yo sayd" would be considered racist.

Fritz beat me to it.

I call ant-Trayvonism on Althouse. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I hate it when they fail to include pictures in stories where the visual is vital to understanding. Which happens a lot.

How in the world are we supposed to judge this incident without pictures? Sure, we all assume the passenger is short, fat, and white (and by reporting the incident, the whole country now knows he is short, fat, and white), but what if he's tall, dark, and handsome? How does that effect the story?

...an employee of Professional Transit Management

Only a real Professional could score a trifecta.

Bravo!

Female driver.

Pity the passenger wasn't old. Driver could have scored with a 'short, fat, old and white' .......

I can't get upset about this. I'll bet that they both helped re-elect Obama.
