"I asked the woman if by 'Dread Scott'... she meant to suggest a connection between Scott Walker and the era of slavery. She said 'Of course.'"

4 years ago today at the Wisconsin protests.

Every moron needs a megaphone, and four years later they get another soap-box.

I had no idea Walker was cougar prey once upon a time. Before cougars were a thing.

This man is ahead of his time.

In fifteen years all of us will be doing brown bag lunches.

I've been doing brown bag lunches for decades. You can not only save a lot of money by bringing your own lunch, you can eat healthier.

The taxpayers as slaves. A captive population serving public employees. Wait, that's not what she meant.

Dred Scott's decision was to sue for his freedom, a prospect which was dreaded by slaveholders.

So I see the connection that elicited the placard: "Dread Scott's Decision".

Remember, the slaveholders were Democrats.

I suspect that the more the Mad(ison) morons hate him, the more popular Walker becomes in the rest of the state.

My kids are long grown. As far as I'm concerned, Moochelle can kiss my hairy white ass. To hell with her if she tries to mess with my grandchildren.

The old demonstrations remind me of the Walker Effect.

The liberal/progressives are not sure how to attack Walker. They sense he is the bad dude sent for by conservatives to destroy their playhouse like Palladin in Have Gun Will Travel. And they attack him over and over with cartoon like propaganda memes.

But Walker counters them with their own sillyness and wins in a serious but friendly way.

the Walker obsession is becoming kind of scary

Over 700 posts and counting.

Walker Worship Syndrome is kind of scary. Not because of the sheer number of posts, but rather because Ann very very rarely (never?) has a bad word to say about Scott the Saint.

If you want to find blogs that bad mouth Walker, you shouldn't have any problem finding them. You seem to object to any blog that doesn't bad mouth Walker, as if any opinion different from your own is not only wrong but impermissible. This is her blog. She's free to write whatever she wants. If you don't like it, that's your problem for continuing to come here.

D'ja ever notice (as Andy Rooney might have said) that the people who seem most outraged by antebellum slavery in the South usually, upon questioning, turn out to be the biggest liberty-phobes and State-f*ckers?

I bet if madisonfella had her own bog attacking Walker all the time, it would get huge numbers. Yet she seems to feel the need to come and complain about the widely read blog that gets her anti-walker talking points out nearly daily.

I bet if Tim in Vermont had her own blog it would be all about me. Because often times that is the only thing she (and her many sock puppets) writes about in the comments.

At least he didn't cover up a VA scandal unlike the current Dem Senator from WI.

Walker did have his own veteran's scandal and attempted cover up, and one of his aides went to prison for it.

As usual, you wouldn't know anything about that if you get all your Scott Walker updates from this blog.

And you never have a kind one. So it all balances out.

I think a good idea would be if you posted a timeline to all the horrible things Walker has done.
Start with the first thing he did wrong in Milwaukee .
Obviously we aren't getting the complete Walker picture.

I assume the woman does not know enough about history to know that it was the Democrat party that was all in for slavery.

In any case, the real "slaves" here are the taxpayers of Wisconsin who are enslaved to the Public Sector Unions.
