"In Japan you can pay to have a handsome man bring you to tears... then dry the tears from your cheeks."

In America, you can pay a woman to deny her agency, her child's life, and maybe bring her to tears.

Well placed movie reference, well done indeed.

Perhaps if they export it to the United States and Britain, they could get the feminists to stop crying and caterwauling.

The worst thing in the world is visiting a Resort Restaurant and then having:

The foreign guy with a guitar ask if he can sing to your table,

And then having your wife and daughter say Yes!

Talk about sheer torture. And of course, you have to smile and give him a tip.

This video brought back memories - bad ones.

Very disappointed by the Handsome Man. I actually exclaimed aloud in dismay when he appeared on the video. Ugh, I don't want to be comforted by Skeletor!

It is cathartic, though, to have a good cry sometimes. I loved the first season of Call the Midwife even though (or maybe because) I was guaranteed to sob through half of each episode.

While I have seen plenty of handsome Japanese men, this guy doesn't cut it for me. Cultural tastes are often very different, aren't they? It would be nice to enjoy a good cry, though. Haven't had one in years.

It seems humans do not know how to handle wealth and comfort without something... it would be racist or sexist or make me a Nazi to say what that something is...

Hmmm... I had read that to the Japanese, an Okinawan is almost as low as a Korean.

Ladies,

I think if you watched any of the more or less recent strain of Japanese anime for adults (and by "adult", I do not mean pornographic, I mean aimed at adults & not children), you would not be surprised by the style of handsomeness of the tear-dryer. That style of a more jagged face, almost a smoothed-down yakuza look, is definitely in style in male characters in anime. You are right, he not handsome in the older Japanese movie star style.

I, like most men, suck eggs when it comes to rating the handsomeness of my fellow males, but I can recognize body & facial types, & can see where "Mr Tear-Dryer" fits in.

Sounds like Vienna in 1929.

Gloria Allred will sue the handsome men for making girls cry. The Okinawan's singing was so bad that it brought tears to my eyes. I remember when it was Judy's turn to cry.

That is due to the amount of weight the woman's current emotional state carries. This introduces variance.

The first thing they do outside of that is Height sort. There are always exceptions, but not many. Women who want to reach a little higher wear heels.

The second and third things they do is check for symmetry of the face and check for testosterone markers. Their current ovulation state determines what kind of markers they want and what sort of relationship they want but they always want symmetry.

It always amazes me that men and women who pair are almost always rated similarly in attractiveness when these factors are taken into account and the man is generally 3-8 inches taller.

A crying shame. How account for it?

I'm a foot taller but other than that it's pretty much Beauty and the Beast. And I'm not being modest.

Somehow I think the proprietor will be disappointed in his attempts to bring this service to other countries. I do not think it has global attribution.

If crying is therapeutic, then all the liberal tears shed about Trump will make them healthier. Winning!

Or a scene from The Tin Drum.
