Every once in a while, if the local news had one person do news, weather, and sports, it would be better. It would be more work, but if it were done by someone - say a journalist - with motivation, seriousness, thoughtfulness and energy, it would be better in every way.

“The economy added 313,000 jobs in February, crushing expectations, while the unemployment rate remained at 4.1 percent, according to a Labor Department report Friday that could help quell inflation fears.”

“In addition to the big job growth, previous months' counts were revised substantially higher. December went from 160,000 to 175,000 while January saw a boost from the initially reported 200,000 to 239,000. That brings the three-month average to 242,000.”

Yep, nothing to see here. Move along, move along ...

The Democrats have an answer to that news.

They plan to run on abolishing ICE , raising taxes and Global Warming.

Storms like this do not typically occur this late in the winter, rather in late January through February. However, over the last 5 years, well below average temperatures and snow storms have left New Englanders waiting several extra weeks for the Spring season to arrive.

Nah, it couldn't be.

Don'r hear much about the 97% lie any more.

Global warming alarmists and their allies in the liberal media have been caught doctoring the results of a widely cited paper asserting there is a 97-percent scientific consensus regarding human-caused global warming. After taking a closer look at the paper, investigative journalists report the authors’ claims of a 97-pecent consensus relied on the authors misclassifying the papers of some of the world’s most prominent global warming skeptics. At the same time, the authors deliberately presented a meaningless survey question so they could twist the responses to fit their own preconceived global warming alarmism.

Political consultant Mary Matalin praised President Trump as “a great overall president,”

calling his job performance “stunning” and adding that she can “die happy now.”

In 2016, Matalin left the Republican Party and registered as a Libertarian but the pundit told PJM she “can’t leave the party because it’s Hotel California.”

“I always thought, as Reagan did, that libertarianism was central to conservatism. I have the same philosophy and I support the same policies. I just thought, at the time, it had nothing to do with Trump, whom I think is doing a great job. It’s just that I didn't see those principles and policies being reflected in the majorities that we kept electing,” Matalin told PJM in an exclusive interview at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference.

I just finished reading the story of that girl who pulled her own eyes out -- I've never read anything quite like that. Oddly, she feels better now even though she is blind and facing many challenges to her future. Maybe it's not so odd -- having gotten off drugs and being diagnosed and prescribed with the proper medication, she is much happier. Sad that her mother was just a little too late, she was on the way to court to get her daughter committed when all that self mutilation happened.

Sorry to get on and also be ghastly, but I just checked out drudge and I am sick at heart to see him use kathy griffin's beheading pic for some post about her.

No excuse to see that pic again. None.

Normalizing beheadings is to descend in civilization, but there does seem to be continued attempts:

* The recent Gucci fashion show posted here
* the discovery that Obama's portraitist has a series of angry black women having just sliced through white women's necks like they were butter (I don't think it could be that easy, would you not need to saw on it a bit?)
* an hour ago I was perusing the weekend WSJ, an old Saturday indulgence, and darn if the Versace Ad isn't jumping in with its own artsy, pretentious version. Ugh.

Like the time indiana jones' challenger draws out his enormous sword, it may be time for me to get a gun.
