There was a question about Hitler having Jewish ancestry. Then, all the family records vanished.

Ahmadinejad is really Jewish?

Ah, then that would explain the money-grubbing and the baby-eating.

Makes perfect sense, as Mark Steyn says, he's probably a homosexual, as well.

Ahmadinejew has got some splainin to do.

Oh my God, now how will Cedarford manage to spin historical facts about the Jewish People? Is this an anti-semites dilemma of all dilemma's? Or on the otherhand, what if Imadinnerjacket is a secret Mossad agent leading the Shia against the Sunni?

Sukkot a Jewish holiday has just started.

Will he visit Jerusalem?

Netanyahu should recognize him as kindred in his next UN speech.

I don't know much about the Iranian political regime, and I've always suspected that Ahmadinejad is more of a tool than a policymaker.

Nevertheless, this really does make perfect sense. It's the converts to a religion who are invariably the crazy ones. This is why, for example, Catholics raised Catholic for generations seem so tame while newly-minted Christians over at the mega-church are so weird. And why first-generation Muslim immigrants to Germany are fine but second-generation immigrants turn to suicide cults. It's that second generation that is not steeped in the Way of the religion -- that looks at the texts baldly and without context.

I did not see that coming...wow.

Next you'll report to us that Andrew Sullivan is actually Catholic. Oh, wait.....

I really get damn tired of all the nuanced excuses made for Mahmoud.

If you have a dog-with an "Iran" tag dangling from his collar and he's barking and foaming at the mouth-I'm going to treat that dog like it has rabies and can and will bite.

I don't give a damn who the hell does or does not hold the other end of the leash.

All of the many -jians I have known have been Armenian. So this sounds like a lot of wishful thinking/hogwash.

Gary -- So true. I am really questioning my fierce criticism of inane Jewish conspiracy theories.

You have to wonder, though, based on this shocking new information: what's the end game?

And BAMA really is an American?

Who is BAMA? Is that Alabama? Yes. It's a state. The stars fell on it.

Is it Obama? Yes, he is an American. Please understand citizenship law. This one is very easy. People with American mothers are always Americans.

In Islam, it doesn't really matter what religion your ancestors had as long as you are, and you family is undoubtedly faithful to Islam. And not showing any sign of being a "Secret Jew" by behavior, profession..
After all, half the Palestinians are people whose ancestors were Jews that converted to Chistianity then to Islam, or went straight from Jew to Muslim.
And both the Zionists and the Palestinians hate the genetic studies that show Sephardim Jew and Palestinian have closer genetic kinship than either do to Egyptians, Ashkenazi Jew, Jordanian, etc. And the old insult - "The cousins".

With Ahmadinejad, he came from a poor peasant family of farmers and blackmiths - work Jews in the ME shunned. And fought in the Revolution and Iran-Iraq War at great personal risk to himself - something Iranians believe Jews avoid in favor of making money "supplying things" to true warriors, while safely distant from battle.
So in the eyes of Iranians, the chances any will see him as a "Secret Jew", even if true that he does have Jewish ancestors, is nill.
The best proof that Muslims accept Jewish converts is Adam Gadan, the American Jew who is now Al Qaeda's English language propagandist.

The tactic of Jews naming their opponents as being of Jewish blood to embarass them is an old one. But only works when you use it on foes of the Jews that emphasize bloodlines or "false Conversos".

Just as their tactic of claiming that Jewish blood is completely irrelevant when the subject of Jewish mass murderers under Communism comes up. "Trotsky? Kaganovich? Smerdlov? Yagoda? Bukharin? The Berman Bros. who ran the Gulags? The Romanov Family butchers? Jews? The Rosenbergs here? Or Leopold and Loeb? Hardly! They weren't real Jews. They were atheists!!"
"And Leopold and Loeb were not mass murderers, nor communist progressives...so there! Ignorant critic!"

What is there to say about this racist tripe other than that anyone not bravely dedicated to free speech for the sake of free speech would expunge it from her property?

What is there to say about a smug idiot whose personal Gravitar is the Gimp from Pulp Fiction...

================
In other Jewish news of the day, progressive Jewish NYC-born attorney Alan Grayson apologized for his smears...but only to fellow Jews if his Holocaust allusion offended them by mentioning non-Jews and somehow cheapened the Brand Name..

Republicans had demanded an apology for the “Die quickly” remark on House floor. Grayson refused, saying the next day: “I apologize to the (44,000) dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner to end this holocaust in America.”

The Florida congressman, who is Jewish, confirms today that he has written an apology to the Anti-Defamation League, saying, “In no way did I mean to minimize the Holocaust… I regret the choice of words, and I will not repeat it.”

That’s likely to be as repentant as Grayson gets. He’s certainly not letting up on Republicans — “knuckle-dragging Neanderthals” as he called them Thursday

Cedarford's post points the way to lasting mideast peace. Instead of looking at the Palestinians as oppressed Muslims we should look at them as converso Jews. You will recall that many Jews in Spain converted to Christianity at the time of the Reconquista. They were looked upon with severe suspicion then and are still treated with distrust. Perhaps if the Arab world looks upon the Palestinians as manipulative Jews who have hijacked the cause of Arab nationalism to their own narrow ends some progress can be made in establishing peace. Perhaps thoughtful anti-Semites like Cedarford should start labelling Arab nationalists as converso Jew lovers or catspaws of the international converso Jew conspiracy. If this movement gains traction, the Palestinians and the Israelis will inevitably bond together to fight anti-Semitism. To my way of thinking, the only thing a Hassidic Jew and a west side Jew have in common is anti-Semitism. If anti-Semites would only take the trouble to stretch the limits of their intolerance to include Palestinians, this mideast fracas would soon be solved.

William, this is brilliant -- since the Islamic anti-semites insist they are semites, getting the rest of the world to (a) acknowledge their semitism and (b) to hate them irrationally as do current anti-semites, the Palestinians would soon find them in the welcoming arms of their long-lost brothers, the Israelis.

Cedarford, just out of curiosity...Are any of your ancestors Jewish?

And don't take it as an insult -- it's not meant as one. I have a little Jewish ancestry myself. I'm just curious. While I disagree with many of your comments, they're always well-written, and you appear to be a very intelligent person; and this makes you a very rare bird: Few antisemites and racists that I know of are even marginally intelligent. It makes me wonder what drives your attitudes.

Maybe you don't consider yourself an antisemite. But you must admit that you seem inordinately fixated on Jews; whenever anyone does anything worth condemning, and they happen to be Jewish, you've got to bring up the fact that they're Jewish, even if it has no bearing at all on the situation.

Was there some formative experience in your youth, or some personal story, that contributed to your attitudes on race, or more specifically, your attitudes about Judaism?

Re. Ahmadinejad: If this is true (and the evidence of his Jewish ancestry seems pretty thin), I'd be only mildly surprised.

I always found the theory that Hitler's bastard father was half-Jewish to be an interesting one. I think the theory was that his grandmother worked as a cleaning woman for a Jewish family; and the patriarch of that family might have pulled a Letterman and impregnated her.

No doubt many Jews would reject this theory out of a reflexive revulsion -- they want no claim to even a quarter of the genetic material of this flaming asshole.

But this would explain Hitler's insane hatred -- the Jews had actually infiltrated his own blood; any of his own flaws, he probably blamed on this quarter of his ancestry.

And of all people to hate...the Jews? They're really a pretty innocuous group. It's sort of like hating the Amish, or New Zealanders, or librarians. You've got to have some sort of unusual impetus in order to develop an insane hatred of such a diverse, inconspicuous, inoffensive group.

Gary Rosen said...

"you must admit that you seem inordinately fixated on Jews"

No way will he ever admit it even though it is so screamingly obvious. That is what the antisemitic personality disorder is all about - they are people who can't own up to their own shortcomings and failures so they blame everything on the Joooos.

"whenever anyone does anything worth condemning, and they happen to be Jewish, you've got to bring up the fact that they're Jewish"

Except for Polanski. Apparently his NAMBLA mentality overcomes even his antisemitism. I thought I was being a little over the top when I said he got his ethics from NAMBLA, in response to his support for Buchanan's crackpot suggestion that the Poles started WWII. I said it was like blaming Megan's Law on Megan. But he has gone out of his way to prove me right.

Although it's hard to imagine in our society where everyone's assimilated and secularized, in Europe Jews were always the Other. They dwelt among the locals while remaining forever separate. They could not eat a meal that a Gentile prepared -- they could not even drink milk if a Gentile had squeezed the cows' teats to get it. Part of the reason so many Polish Jews were killed was so many rural Jews could not speak Polish -- what was the point in learning, when learning to read meant learning to read Hebrew, and everyone they knew communicated in Yiddish? Speaking only Yiddish they had no possibility to pass as Poles.

Contacts between Jews and Gentiles in the shtetl were limited to economic ones: Buying, selling, lending, and hiring. Reminiscing about their lives before the war, the ten percent of Polish Jews who survived typically could not recall a single Gentile's name from their village -- even those who had hid them and fed them at the risk of their lives.

And why were there so many Jews in Poland? Poland's king had welcomed them, for their skills and their economic activity, after Western Europe -- England and France and Spain, etc. etc. had expelled them.
