"Dozens of Russian athletes at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, including at least 15 medal winners, were part of a state-run doping program..."

"... meticulously planned for years to ensure dominance at the Games, according to the director of the country’s antidoping laboratory at the time."

Doping shmoping.

I want to see Lindsay Vonn break the world record in the Super-G, and if she has to have a beard like Billy Gibbon from ZZ Top to do it, I am ok with that.

Uh, only don't pose for the SI Swimsuit issue after. Just sayin'.

They should have just had men compete on the womens team and said they were women.

They made Ben Johnson give back his gold medal, they should make the fifteen Russians who won medals in Sochi after doping give theirs back too.

And while we're at it, every East German female swimmer from 1972 until reunification should be forced to give their medals back. Justice demands that Shirley Babashoff should have her golds (and her bronze in the 1972 400m).

The 1960's, 70's, 80's, and 90's called and want their headline back.

Imagine if Bruce Jenner became Caitlyn when he was still competing? And after a year of estrogen still produced better times than most men and ALL women? Would we demand s/he give her medals back? Why not?

Transgender athletes, specifically men who pretend to be women, are basically the equivalent of athletes who doped to get an advantage. Women who think they are men who had to compete with men would not be in the Olympics, because they would suck.

Let's not forget Irina and Tamara Press, or, as they were known, "the Press Brothers."

Who are we to judge what gender they feel like on the day of the event? I say put them on the cover of SI with Caitlyn!!

When I heard several years ago, that mom and pop shops and stores with the name Olympic were forced to change their name, due to their trademark. Some businesses named that for many years, I decided right then, that the Olympics was a complete fraud. An entity which merely vacuumed up money and made about five guys billionaires.

People who accept their trophies, are as stupid as musicians who let themselves be entered into the R&R hall of fame (tm).

Bah!

Funny how many countries still see the Olympics as a source of national pride. From a US perspective it's just another, different but just another, over produced sports event which affords a few Americans to make some ad money in an otherwise nothing sport. (see Michael Phelps) and the networks (NBC) to make some money on coverage that is more female oriented than your usual fare.
