Did Anderson Cooper call Trump a "tool" and a "pathetic loser"?

Or did "someone gain[] access to [his] twitter account," which is what somebody with access to Anderson Cooper's Twitter account is saying now?

Link goes to Breitbart, which calls this "yet another catastrophic blow to CNN’s credibility, a news outlet that indentifies as objective."

ADDED: Breitbart can snark "a news outlet that indentifies as objective," I presume, because Breitbart does not "identify as objective."

That reminds me... yesterday Fox News had an article "CNN mocked for airing segment on Trump's soda consumption while NYC faced terror attack," and it has this:
While viewers scrambled to hear the latest news, several people took to Twitter to mock CNN’s programming’s decision. Blogger Ann Althouse noted that the New York Times article that first mentioned Trump’s soda habit came out a few days ago and added, “CNN is hopeless,” after expressing frustration that CNN didn’t offer the live report on the attempted terror attack.
Would it kill them to link? Here.

CNN is on the TeeVee. Breitbart - not.

The "we meet the same standards as Breitbart" defense seems likely to be a winner - for Breitbart.

Whenever someone says their account has been hacked, it’s never been hacked

Hacked by merlot or his boyfriend, maybe

I'll won't fret about Breitbart's objectivity until Breitbart is on television at every gate in every airport everywhere.

Good luck trying to get people to make a link.

Cooper could dump on Trump on his laptop and people could get a screenshot and his fans would still adore him!

Drinking too many cosmos is not the same as being "hacked" Anderson.

Didn't these guys learn anything from Wiener?

The terms "tool" and "pathetic loser" do indicate a younger, less inarticulate author.

Or maybe that's the real AC.

Carol said...

..uh, less articulate..

I like fake news anchors who don't get hacked.

Hmmm. It does sound a lot like Andy Cohen now that you mention it.

Perhaps this was a post by Rex Tillerson who called Trump a moron?

Cut him some slack. He won a Pulitzer for God's sake when he broke the story defining the term Tea Bagging .

And some of you don't consider him a journalist. Feh.

CNN has connection to Fusion GPS as does the DOJ.

Lots to come.

R/V should not believe every left wing accusation he sees. That was denied long ago.

The last Tillerson rumor was that he was going to be fired within a week. That was several weeks ago but it hasn't impacted your willingness to believe Tillerson related rumors has it?

Nothing penetrates the left wing narrative.

Anderson knows a lot about teabagging; and he should stick to it and leave the rest of us alone. As for pathetic tools, Anderson need only look in the mirror.

I want to know the reason Mueller signed an ethics waiver when he was appointed Special Prosecutor, and why we just found out yesterday.

Tillerson only said he would not deal with "petty stuff" he never denied it MK. Interesting how quick some on this blog jump to the teabag wagon which I thought we had done away with.

I mean Cooper knows a tool when he sees one...usually when balls are resting on his chin.

I would think that legitimate insult Tweets from Anderson Cooper would include at least one gay slur, possibly something that is obscure to outsiders.

Breitbart does not identify as objective. However, given that objective news sources have repeatedly proven this year that they are not objective and often incompetent, I'm not really sure if that is a problem.

It's totally ok to call Trump a pathetic loser or a tool. It's just one man's opinion.

The problem is if you express that opinion, while making gobs of money as an "unbiased" reporter of facts.

Nice linkless shout-out from Fox, Althouse. Did you notice any increase in traffic after that news article?

If he says he was hacked, I believe him. It isn't like he is really smart enough to prevent such things from happening.

No, but I don't look at traffic much since Site Meter died.

I see my numbers in Blogger, but mostly just check to see if the monthly traffic stays about the same. I'm not looking to see how much each posts brings in and trying to figure out how to do more like that and less like the posts that didn't get any attention.

I've never done much of anything to try to propagate this blog and build traffic. I started it for my own free expression, and a couple months into it, I sent one email to Glenn Reynolds (showing him a post about something John Kerry said about the death penalty), and most of my traffic has come as a consequence of that one email. I don't email people prodding them to link to me. If I'd been doing that, I'd have gotten tired of it all long ago.

I've always gone on the intrinsic value of whatever I was doing in the moment. That's why it has worked. I was able to do that because I wasn't dependent on this to make a living. Can't imagine what would have happened to me if blogging had been available to me when I was in my 20s.

You might look into google analytics and ads as a side project. One of my projects is going to be setting up a content site and driving traffic to it just to familiarize myself with the tools both google ads and the analysis. There are a bunch of websites that charge a small amount of money that work with and give you general information about the visitors.

For some reason I see a lot of comments from people in the Seattle area here. It would be interesting to follow that up for example.

Thing is, it is totally believable that Cooper thinks that and would tweet it in private.

So I guess I am like those who chose to believe the utterly implausible UVa and Duke rape hoaxes--it's too good not to be true. And by "good" I mean it confirms my prejudices.

If that seems unfair, well, so be it. I didn't start this.

I know how to do that, I’m just not interested. I don’t do anything that bores me. I have that luxury.

Interesting to see how fast lefties go for homosexual taunts as though you thought homosexuality was some sort of negative association.

Anderson is well associated with"teabagging:" but I wonder why you use it.

Thank you, Ann! Organic growth is usually the best, as it tends to produce more long-term and active participation.

Anthony Weiner being the most famous case.

Funny how the account is always hacked to say/do what the owner wanted all along.
